In some cases, a Membership standing does not automatically change from "New" to "Active" or from "Active" to "Lapsed" as expected. This is due to an issue with an automated process that is supposed to update this status nightly, Our team is currently investigating a fix for this automation to restore the service. Note: This issue only impacts the label. Membership rules and benefits are still functioning as expected as these are tied to the Membership term start and end dates. 

Interim Solution

For records that are stuck at "Active" when they should be marked as "Lapsed", an ACME Back Office user can edit the Membership expiration date to any date in the past. This will force the user interface to update the status label to "Lapsed." The user can then change the expiration date back to the correct value.
