Issue: In some cases when edits are made to the sales channels on an event schedule after a template has been published, events can become unlinked from the event template, even if there are no tickets booked.

Solution:The event schedule should be edited to "match" the event instance configuration. For example, if the Web sale channel is disabled on the event instance, apply the same configuration to the event schedule. Publishing the template will forcer the events to relink to the template again. From here, the user can leave the events as is or delete the schedule to remove these events and start over with a new schedule.
